INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY TRAINEESHIP

Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is one of the largest employers of Apprentices and Trainees in Australia.  We currently have a full-time vacancy for a highly motivated individual to undertake a Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology Trainee.
Note: A Police check will be required for this position.

Our Host Employer is looking for a reliable individual with an interest in Information technology to support their team.  This entry level position, ideal for a current school-leaver, is working within a well-respected Wodonga business and will be commencing in February 2021.

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS:
>       Drivers Licence
>       Minimum Year 11 schooling

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:
> Must be an Australian Citizen or have right to work in this country
> Tertiary graduates need not apply

Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre is a Group Training Organisation who employs apprentices and trainees then places them with Host Organisations.  We provide support for all apprentices and trainees by way of our mentoring program which fits in with a regular cycle of visiting in the workplace and training provider.  We are there to assist and guide you through not only the apprenticeship/traineeship but where necessary provide support and assistance to allow you to successfully complete your work and training commitments and gain your qualification.

An Information Technology Traineeship will involve:
> Use computer operating systems and hardware.
> Work and communicate effectively in an ICT environment.
> Operate application software packages.
> Operate a digital media technology package.
> Use social media tools for collaboration and engagement.
> Contribute to health and safety of self and others.
> Participate in environmentally sustainable work practices.

Personal Requirements:
>       Good understanding of basic IT Principles across Network, Server and Desktop environments.
>       Genuinely passionate about technology and driven to build a career in IT.
>       Excellent communication, interpersonal skills and presentation.
>       Accuracy and high attention to detail.
