Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre, in conjunction with Ringwood Training are excited to offer this Fabrication apprenticeship opportunity.
Ringwood training is a Trade Training Centre that delivers Fabrication, Automotive and IT training programs. They are looking to place an apprentice to work in the Engineering fabrication workshop assisting teachers to run machines, prepare components, and maintain welding and fabrication equipment for use by trainee participants that will move through the centre. This will provide an experience unlike most, in that you will be learning a lot about the broad range of skills and knowledge requirements for all apprentices and trainees. Great access to industry leading equipment and working with fully qualified and well experienced training staff.
About you:
– A passion for Metal working, Engineering and an enthusiastic work ethic.
– Commitment to continuing your apprenticeship, while undertaking a Certificate III Engineering at RTF
– Strong sense of self-motivation and enthusiasm with a high work ethic and can-do attitude
– Professional presentation
– Honesty, reliability & punctuality
A fantastic array of skills and knowledge is on offer for applicants eager to continue their career in this industry.
You will learn to:
– Examine and evaluate drawings and specification for requirements.
– Operate and adjust metalworking machines and create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding or drilling metal stock or components.
– Fit and assemble metal parts, tools or sub-assemblies (including brazing or welding parts, repair or replace faulty parts).
– Cut, thread, bend and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines.
– Ensure accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools or sub-assemblies.
