Fabrication – Engineering Apprenticeship

The Opportunity:

Location in Thurgoona NSW, our host is a stainless and mild steel fabricator, specializing in a range of projects such as pipework, pressure vessels, tanks and plenty more. 

We have an opportunity for a first year fabricator to join their team

• Gain either a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication 
• Friendly and supportive workshop

Duties may include:

• Fabricating pipes, pressure vessels, tanks, structural steel 
• Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
• Cutting, rolling, shaping, heating, or hammering metal products to produce parts.
• Using hand and machine tools and welding equipment,
• Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures.

About You:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
• Drivers Licence required
• Completion of Year 10 High School
