Ai Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre have a vacancy for an Apprentice in Engineering – Fabrication as a Boilermaker Apprentice with our host company based in the Wodonga area.
Location: Wodonga, VIC
Benefits:
- All training fees and PPE paid for
- Earn a weekly 40hr full time wage + super
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals
- A dedicated field consultant to support you throughout your apprenticeship
- Gain a Certificate III in Engineering – Fabrication Trade upon completion
- Shift Hours: 7am to 3:30pm
- Expected to work full time and study your certification.
- Use of forklift (18+)
- Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
- Cutting, rolling, shaping, heating, or hammering metal products to produce parts.
- Using hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines.
- Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures.
- Adding finishing touches to products in the form of cleaning, polishing, filing, and adding protective or decorative finishes.
- Complete 4 years of the apprenticeship
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- White Card required
- Year 11 Schooling Desirable
- Forklift licence desirable
