The Opportunity:
 
Our client, Ego Pharmaceuticals is looking for an Apprentice Mechanical Fitter to help maintain their Braeside, VIC manufacturing plant. Ego Pharmaceuticals is a leader in skincare products that have become a popular selling brand across Australia, and globally for over 70 years. Ego produces over 120 products including well known brands such as QV Skincare, DermAid, SunSense sunscreen, and Aqium Hand Sanitiser.

This exciting opportunity is ideal for an individual passionate about starting an apprenticeship and eager to launch a career in the engineering industry. 
  
Location: Braeside, VIC
Working Hours: Monday to Friday 6am – 2.30pm with monthly RDOs

About the role:

• Learn the use of a variety of hand and power tools
• Develop knowledge and skills on the use of lathes, mills, grinders and various welding equipment and techniques.
• Assist with preventative and breakdown maintenance of the facility

About you:

• Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
• Previous experience in a role dealing with people/working in a team (paid or voluntary) highly desirable
• Driver’s License and reliable transport
• Possess a natural inquisitiveness and a desire to learn.
