The Opportunity:

Start your apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering as a Machinist with Australia's leading gear manufacturer. You'll learn in demand skills as you create parts by turning, milling, gear cutting and grinding with industry leading quality and precision.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone that loves robotics, technology and working with metal. 
 
Location: Highett, VIC  
Duration: 4 year fully paid apprenticeship with PPE provided and post apprenticeship opportunities 

About the role:
  • Learn to use lathes, milling and CNC machines to produce a range of gears
  • Learn to use a range of hand and power tools and advanced machines
  • Learn how to examine and understand detailed drawings and specifications
  • Receive training to complete quality inspections on manufactured products
About You:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
  • Love technology, robotics and metalwork 
  • Good attention to detail and math skills
