Benefits:
- Full-time role with 38 hours per week and one rostered day off per month.
- The ability to earn money while learning a trade
- Obtain a Nationally recognised qualification
- Mentoring from experienced industry professionals
- All training fees paid for
- PPE provided throughout the apprenticeship
- Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
- Managing plant operations and performing running repairs.
- Using hand and machine tools and welding equipment.
- Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures.
- Operating overhead cranes and using basic hand and power tools.
- Adding finishing touches to products in the form of cleaning, polishing, filing, and adding protective or decorative finishes.
- Working with hydraulic equipment and other machinery.
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Completion of Year 10 High School
- Drivers Licence desirable but not essential
- Willing to undertake police check and pre employment medical if required
