Apprentice of the Month – April 2025
We’re excited to announce Evelyn Duggan as this month’s Trainee of the Month!
Evelyn is completing a Business Administration traineeship with the Country Fire Authority (CFA) in Wendouree, Victoria, and has made a lasting impression on both her colleagues and supervisors.
Evelyn has been described by her CFA supervisor, Donna Saunders, as providing “friendly, helpful customer service,” and being “super-efficient” and a team player who “works really well with others.” Since commencing her traineeship in September last year, these qualities have made her a valuable member of the team in a fast-paced and important community-focused workplace.
Frances Constable, our Employment & Training Area Manager for Central Victoria, echoed these sentiments, stating that “Evelyn is a fantastic trainee who has truly flourished in her role.” Frances has been impressed by Evelyn’s rapid development, noting significant growth in her confidence, skills, and knowledge. “Each time I visit, I see a young person who is thriving. Her maturity and professionalism are growing every day.”
For Evelyn, the experience has been incredibly rewarding. She shared, “I’m proud to be a part of a workplace where everyone works hard. It’s a positive environment where I feel valued and encouraged to grow.”
It’s clear that Evelyn has embraced every opportunity that comes with her traineeship, and her commitment to learning and her workplace has not gone unnoticed.
