Celebrating Excellence: Zelman Wilkinson Named Finalist in 2025 Victorian Training Awards
We are proud to announce that our outstanding apprentice, Zelman Wilkinson, has been named one of four finalists in the Koorie Student of the Year category at the 2025 Victorian Training Awards.
Zelman’s journey is a testament to dedication, resilience, and the power of vocational education. His recognition at the state level follows an earlier accolade in November 2024, when he was awarded Indigenous Student of the Year at the Victorian AEN (Apprenticeship Employment Network) awards—a moment we proudly celebrated in our previous article.
In March 2025, Zelman successfully completed his apprenticeship and is now a fully qualified Electronics Technician with Dallas Delta, where he continues to thrive in his career.
This latest achievement would not have been possible without the support of Box Hill TAFE, who submitted Zelman’s nomination, and his host company, Dallas Delta, who have championed his training and development throughout his apprenticeship. Their commitment to nurturing talent and creating meaningful opportunities for apprentices like Zelman is greatly appreciated.
We congratulate Zelman on this well-deserved recognition and look forward to cheering him on at the awards ceremony. His success is an inspiration to all aspiring apprentices and a shining example of what can be achieved through hard work and strong support networks.
