About the role:
Our Host Employer, Liquip Sales, are a leading provider in custom fabrication, repairs, and maintenance of petrol tankers, trailers, and fire trucks. You will learn skills and have experiences working on projects, that you will not get anywhere else!
They are currently seeking to recruit an Automotive Electrical Apprentice. You will be working with a leading company in the petrochemical industry at their fully equipped workshop based in Pikenba, QLD. This is ideal for someone who is passionate about hands on work. This opportunity is a 4-year apprenticeship which upon completion will result in being a fully qualified Automotive Electrician!

Some of the things you may do are;
- Wire fire truck bodies (all components, lots to learn!)
- Wire cab chassis to comply with fire codes
- Carry out routine inspections and repairs

- Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- You must be committed to a 4 stage/year apprenticeship
- Must have a Driver’s License and reliable car as there is no public transport available
- Having a starter set of hand tools (desirable but not essential)
- Confined space ticket (desirable but not essential, as can be organised later)
