About the role: Our Host Employer has been designing and manufacturing switchboards for Energy Management Systems, lighting and control rooms for over 50 years. Within their purpose-built facility, you will work with a talented and experienced team who are passionate about quality outcomes. As a first year Fabrication Apprentice you will;
- Fabricate sheet metal switchboard cabinets to design specifications
- Bend, Tac weld and grind sheet metal
- Use hand and machine tools and various welding equipment
- Keep the workshop clean and tidy, cleaning welding bays
This role is located in
Royal Park, working
Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.30pm with a monthly rostered day off (RDO).

About you: - Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Willing to undertake a drug & alcohol test if required
- You love working with metal and with advanced machinery
