About the role: For over 90 years J.G. Schulz have been providing quality motor body building services to South Australian businesses. Their product range includes tray bodies, tippers, trailers, vans, curtainsiders, tankers, chassis modifications and more. As an Apprentice for Ai Group Apprentice & Trainee Centre and J.G. Schulz, you will build motor bodies for trailers and trucks, often using your problem-solving skills to come up with solutions to job designs.
Some of the things you will do are;
- Learn MIG welding techniques and use oxy acetylene drills
- Operate hand and power tools as well as rivet guns, spray paint guns and scribes
- Interpret plans to produce products to design needs
This role is located in
Wingfield, working

About you: - Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
- Driver’s License and reliable transport
- Forklift license (desirable)
- Willing to undertake a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol test if required
- You love working in a manufacturing environment
- You have some exposure to metal fabrication and/or Cert II Engineering
