About the role: Our Host Employer is a local success story, specialised in the fabrication and supply of major and minor steelworks for companies associated with road and maritime services. In this
Heavy Fabrication (Boilermaker) apprenticeship you will work in a 4000 sqm workshop developing skills that will set you apart from other apprentices.
The day to day will include offsite and onsite maintenance work, repairing equipment and machinery, as well as scheduled maintenance work. At times you will be in the workshop, machining parts or learning to weld and fabricate components.
You will learn to: - Operate a lathe, mill and CNC machines
- Use power and hand tools
- Develop your welding skills in Mig, Tig and Stick welding
- Fabricate parts using a plasma cutter and grinder
This role is located in
Wodonga, working
Monday to Friday 7.00am to 3.00pm
Current Apprentices in the same Trade are encouraged to apply. Multiple vacancies available.

About you: - Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
