About the role:

Adding another 2x Mechanical Trade Apprentices to their workforce, your duties as an Apprentice may include;
  • Examining and understanding detailed drawings and specifications to determine the requirements for the task
  • Operating and adjusting metalworking machines to create parts or tools by turning, boring, milling, shaping, slotting, grinding, or drilling metal stock or components
  • Using various techniques which include welding, bolting, and riveting to align, assemble, and fix pieces together to create parts and structures
  • Setting up and operating hand and machine tools, welding equipment, and CNC machines
  • Ensuring accuracy and quality of finished parts, tools, or sub-assemblies
Current 1st Year and 2nd Year Mechanical Engineering Apprentices are encouraged to apply.

This role is located in Adelaide Airport, working Monday to Friday 7.00am – 3.00pm

About you:
  • Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
  • Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
  • Certificate II Engineering (desirable)
  • Driver’s License and reliable transport
  • Willing to undertake police check and pre employment medical if required
  • Positive, can-do attitude with a strong focus on safety
  • A mechanical aptitude
