About the role: Our employer is a 100% Australian owned and operated company with an extensive history in the fabrication and machining of small through to large complex components and assemblies for rail, agriculture, mining and defence industries. This is the perfect opportunity to start your apprenticeship with industry leaders to expand your skillset in the use of cutting-edge CAM programming, CNC machining, and precision engineering. You'll learn in demand skills that will set you apart from other apprentices.
Some of the things you will do are;
- Learn the basics of CNC machining including set up and programming.
- Learn to use precision measuring tools (calipers and micrometers) to ensure machined components meet design specs.
- Machine components and assemblies for the rail, agriculture, mining and defence industries.
- Shadow experienced machinists and progress to more advanced operations as your confidence improves.
This role is located in
Pooraka, working
Monday to Friday, 6.00am to 3.00pm (finishing early on Fridays!)

About you: - Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Minimum completion of Year 10 High School
