The Opportunity:
Start your apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering with Australia's leading gear manufacturer. You'll learn in demand skills as you create parts by turning, milling, gear cutting and grinding with industry leading quality and precision.
This is a perfect opportunity for a recent school leaver that loves robotics, technology and is looking to start a career in engineering.
Location: Highett, VIC
Hours: 07:00 - 15:30 with monthly RDOs

About the role:
- Operating and maintaining CNC machines for gear cutting and shaping
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specs
- Assisting in design using CAD
- Quality control and inspection using precision measuring tools
- Learning about different materials and heat treatment processes used in gear manufacturing
- Supporting the engineering team with process improvements and problem solving
- Must be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident with the right to work in Australia
- Love technology, robotics and metalwork
- Good attention to detail, math skills and willingness to learn
- Monthly RDOs
- Work with a leading gear manufacturing company that promotes a positive workshop environment
- The ability to earn money while learning a trade
- Gain a nationally recognised Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering
- All training fees and PPE paid for
