About the role:
Our host employer, Hitachi Global Air Power provides expert air compressor solutions across Perth, the Pilbara, and all of Western Australia. Hitachi Global Air Power has an opportunity for a 1st Year Engineering - Mechanical Trade Apprentice who will work with a great team at its Wattle Grove operations in Western Australia. This is a fantastic opportunity to get your apprenticeship career start!
As an Apprentice, some of the things you will do are;
This role is located in Wattle Grove, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm with a view to commence in January 2026. Eventually, there will be opportunity to work offsite and travel as well.

As an Apprentice, some of the things you will do are;
- Assist qualified Trades with mechanical fitting, machine setting and fabrication tasks
- Learn about Air Compressors and assist with regular preventive maintenance
- Strip and clean seals
- Work with hand and power tools
This role is located in Wattle Grove, working Monday to Friday 7.30am to 3.30pm with a view to commence in January 2026. Eventually, there will be opportunity to work offsite and travel as well.

- You must be committed to completing a 4 Year/Stage Apprenticeship
- You will have a mechanical aptitude and be a team-player
- Cert II Engineering and a Forklift license is desirable
- Drivers licence & and own transport required
