Three finalists announced for 2025 AEN Victorian Apprentice Awards
Australian Industry Group Apprentice and Trainee Centre (ATC) is proud to announce that three of our nominations have successfully been named finalists in the prestigious AEN 2025 Apprentice Awards, recognising excellence across the Victorian apprenticeship sector.
Max Neagle, a Mechanical Engineering apprentice hosted to ARB Corporation in Kilsyth, has been shortlisted for the Apprentice of the Year category. Max’s dedication, technical skill and commitment to continuous improvement have made him a standout among his peers. We’ve also recently celebrated Max’s success as the recipient of a Global Footprint Scholarship, a testament to his leadership potential and future impact in the industry.
In the Female in Trades category, Sarah Hunn-Moses, a Welding and Fabrication apprentice hosted to Convair Engineering in Epping, has earned her place as a finalist. Sarah’s passion for welding and her determination to thrive in a traditionally male-dominated field exemplify the growing strength and diversity of Australia’s manufacturing workforce.
We’re also thrilled to share that Aggreko, one of our highly valued host companies, and our ATC have been jointly named finalists in the GTO Collaboration Award category. This recognition highlights the outstanding partnership between Aggreko and the ATC, built on shared values, mutual respect and a commitment to developing skilled talent through meaningful on-the-job training.

Being recognised across the three categories is a testament to the quality of our apprentices, the strength of our host company relationships and the dedication of our team. We congratulate Max, Sarah, the team at Aggreko and everyone involved in these nominations and look forward to celebrating their achievements at the upcoming awards ceremony in November.
