South Australian Webinar – Apprenticeships and Traineeships – Employment a& Supervision requirements
Ai Group Apprentice & Trainee Centre recently held a webinar for employers in South Australia on a range of topics like ‘Incentives available to employers of apprentices and trainees’, ‘The best way to supervise and train your apprentice and trainees’, and ‘Ensuring you are meeting the requirements under a training contract’.
Presenters included Renee Hindmarsh, and John Evangelista from the South Australian Skills Commission, and Hilary Ashworth, Business Development Manager SA, MEGT (Australia) Ltd And hosted by Rob Drysdale, State Manager – Western Regions (SA/WA/NT) and Craig Hilton, National Manager – Recruitment & Stakeholder Engagement.
It was a very thorough and enjoyable discussion packed with great tips of support and guidance for employers to take on apprentices and trainees, and whilst some of the information is relevant and specific to South Australia, there is also a great deal of information highlighted for all employers and candidates across Australia.
